The equestrian industry in the United States showcases it’s top tier riders on a regular basis. Olympic level competition sees sponsorship from high end cars and watch manufacturers, events sell out, and riders of all ages are inspired to keep working towards their goals.

…But what if those spectators never even get to that point? What happens when children stop begging for riding lessons? When parents stop insisting their kids get off the couch and out to the barn? What happens when the horse crazy boys and girls can’t find the local riding school to start taking lessons? If they don’t fall in love with riding how will they ever support the upper echelon of the sport? Where will our Olympic riders even come from?

These are some big philosophical questions facing our industry and if we want to continue to see equestrian sports grow instead of shrink, we have to be sure that clients are able to find us.
